Hello to all you interesting people out there in cyber-space that are brave enough to be ‘out there’ for the world to see.

This is my first attempt at blogging. It’s sort of a forced thing, as I have just self published two short stories and am being ‘urged’ to either build a web site, create a blog or not publish. The blog seems easier than the first one (the last one didn’t compute).

I’m retired from any sort of schedule. I get up in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and sit down at my computer. I do whatever, whenever. And I seem to be busier than I ever was when I got up in the morning and in an hour was dressed and out in the world of scary drivers who talked on cell phones and applied makeup while (I imagined) steering with one knee. You know that lady who had both hands gripping the steering wheel and staring wide-eyed out the window? You should have waved. That was me.

Okay, so I survived the scary drivers (self-defensive driving – I swear my head was on a swivel). But I do remember a time when I accidentally cut a guy off (he was driving a very large truck – actually, I think it was a tank). He followed me all the way to work, passing me and slamming on his brakes, then taking off. Road rage. Not one of my faults.

Now, I’m married to the love of my life (they say third one’s a charm – in my case, it was the forth) who totally encourages me to write. He’s always willing to listen, offer ideas and keep me focused (not easy to do with an A-type person – his words. In reality I’m only a B+).
